OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS contains a special combination of high-quality vitamins, minerals and trace elements, as well as valuable short-chain carbohydrates known as fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), which serve as food for certain bacteria:
- Vitamin B2 helps to maintain normal mucosal function and helps to protect cells from oxidative stress. Calcium plays an important role in the normal functioning of digestive enzymes, while vitamin D and zinc contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
- Fructo-oligosaccharides and galacto-oligosaccharides (FOS/GOS) are special carbohydrates that serve as food for certain bacteria. They stimulate the proliferation of the specific bacteria Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii and the conversion of food into short-chain fatty acids (such as butyrate).
- Glucomannan has been shown to contribute to weight loss when used in conjunction with an energy-restricted diet.
