Description
What are vitamin C microcrystals? Vitamin C Micro-Crystals contains 5,000 mg of pure crystalline vitamin C powder per teaspoon, without additives. It can be added to juice or sprinkled over food.
Vitamin C Vitamin C has been proven to have a positive effect on many different places and in various processes of our body. Vitamin C is the most important water-soluble antioxidant and protects our body from free radicals (aggressive substances that can damage tissues and cells). Known causes of this are smoking, stress, and an unhealthy diet. Antioxidants render these free radicals harmless and help the body stay healthy. Vitamin C also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the nervous system, increases iron absorption, and contributes to normal collagen formation as well as to the normal function of blood vessels, cartilage, and skin.
Vitamin C in our diet Since our body cannot synthesize vitamin C on its own, we have to absorb it completely through food. Vitamin C sources are mainly fruits and vegetables as well as their juices and smoothies. Citrus fruits, kiwis, berries, strawberries, and cabbages in particular are rich in vitamin C. Hint: Food supplements are not intended to be a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.
