Description
What is ALA Release?
ALA Release is an advanced formula consisting of R-Alpha Lipoic Acid, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Biotin. Alpha-lipoic acid comes in two different forms (isomers), the R and S forms. The R-shape is the most natural and effective form. However, the S-form can increase the bioavailability of the R-form. Because of this, this supplement contains a mixture of both forms. Biotin plays a role in the activity of certain enzymes involved in energy metabolism and also plays an important role in the nervous system.
With Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha-lipoic acid is a sulfur-containing fatty acid that occurs naturally in the mitochondria of all body cells. Our body can produce it in small amounts from the amino acid cysteine and the fatty acid octanoic acid. Alpha-lipoic acid is also found in limited quantities in our diet, mainly in meat from animal organs and, to a lesser extent, in vegetables and fruits.
Supplement with Alpha Lipoic Acid
Allergy Research Group's® ALA Release provides 30 mg of R-alpha lipoic acid, 270 mg of alpha lipoic acid, 1000 mcg of biotin and 60 mg of calcium per tablet. Each pack contains 60 tablets.
Hint:
Food supplements are not intended to be a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.
