Description
C-Ascorbs®
C-Ascorbs®
provides a well-tolerated form of vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is bound to the minerals potassium, magnesium, manganese, calcium and zinc. For people who cannot tolerate normal vitamin C dosage forms, buffered forms of vitamin C are a suitable alternative because they do not burden the stomach or the rest of the digestive system.
What is vitamin C?
Vitamin C is the most important water-soluble antioxidant and protects our body from free radicals (aggressive substances that can damage tissues and cells). Known causes of this are smoking, stress and an unhealthy diet. Antioxidants render these free radicals harmless and help the body stay healthy.
Vitamin C has been proven to have a positive effect in many different places and in the most diverse processes of our body:
It contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, as well as the nervous system, increases iron absorption and contributes to normal collagen formation, as well as to the normal functioning of blood vessels, cartilage and skin.
Vitamin C in our diet
Since our body cannot synthesize vitamin C on its own, we have to absorb it completely through food.
Vitamin C sources are mainly fruits and vegetables as well as their juices and smoothies. Citrus fruits, kiwis, berries, strawberries and cabbages in particular are rich in vitamin C.

Food supplements are not intended to be a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.
