Description
Perm A Vite
was developed by Dr. Leo Galland, an American physician who has dealt extensively with the 'leaky gut', the condition of an undesirable increased permeability of the intestinal mucosa.
His work has led to the development of a formula with micronutrients that are important for the intestinal mucosa, such as glutamine, cellulose, organic sulphur (MSM) and N-acetyl-glucosamine.
Glutamine is an important energy substrate for intestinal cells. N-acetyl-glucosamine is a component of glycosamine glcans - also called mucopolysaccharide - which plays an important role in connective tissue structures. The intestinal mucosa has a high proportion of glycosamine glycans to actively regulate its function as a dynamic barrier between the inside and outside.
Hint:
Food supplements are not intended to be a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.
