Source of Life® Garden™ Men's Multi is a vegan, iron-free multivitamin with whole food blends. It provides vegan vitamin D3 from lichens along with vitamins A, C, E, and K, as well as the full spectrum of B vitamins. It also contains minerals such as calcium and magnesium from seaweed in a plant-based whole food base that is rich in vital substances especially for men.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D can be produced by the body in the skin with the help of the sun's UV-B rays. It is the site of the body's own production of vitamin D (endogenous synthesis). In winter, however, the sun's radiation in our latitudes is too weak for sufficient vitamin D production in the skin. The body then falls back on vitamin D3, which is stored in the form of calcifediol, if available. The stores are mainly located in muscle and adipose tissue.
