What is Ultra Lipoic™?
Ultra Lipoic is a formula that consists of R-Lipoic Acid and Alpha-Lipoic™ Acid. Alpha-lipoic acid comes in two different forms (isomers), the R and S forms. The R-shape is the most natural and effective form of the body. However, the S-form can increase the bioavailability of the R-form. Because of this, this supplement contains a mixture of both forms.
In addition, the product offers a patented probiotic complex, as well as a patented complex with MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), NAC (N-acetyl cysteine), turmeric (standardized curcumin), grape seed extract (from Vitis vinifera, standardized proanthocyanidins).

Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha-lipoic acid is a sulfur-containing fatty acid that occurs naturally in the mitochondria of all cells in our body. It can be formed in small quantities in our body from the amino acid cysteine and the fatty acid octanoic acid. Alpha-lipoic acid is also found in limited quantities in our food, especially in animal offal, as well as in vegetables and fruits.
