Niacin CRT™ 500 mg NE enthält 500 mg NE Niacin (als Nikotinsäure) in einer einzigartigen Wachsmatrix-Tablette, die die neueste Controlled-Release-Technologie (CRT) verwendet. Diese Technologie gibt das Niacin kontrolliert über einen Zeitraum von 6 bis 8 Stunden während der gesamten Transitzeit der Tablette im Darm ab. Bei Niacin mit verzögerter Wirkstofffreisetzung kann es manchmal zu einem Flush kommen, da zeitweise größere Mengen Niacin freigesetzt werden können. Bei Niacin mit kontrollierter Freisetzung ist ein Flush jedoch weniger wahrscheinlich. Dieses Produkt kann für ein gesundes Lipidmanagement von Vorteil sein.
