Pantothensäure ist ein wasserlösliches Vitamin und zählt zur Gruppe der B-Vitamine. Pantothensäure nimmt im Energiestoffwechsel eine zentrale Rolle ein. Als Bestandteil von Coenzym A ist es erforderlich für den Abbau von Fetten, Kohlenhydraten und verschiedenen Aminosäuren sowie für den Aufbau von Fettsäuren, Cholesterol und Steroidhormonen, Vitamin D sowie einigen Neurotransmittern. Pantothensäure unterstützt in Stresssituationen und arbeitsreichen Zeiten.
